An avid 90 Day Fiancé fan has discovered wedding pictures of Patrick Mendes' first marriage to his ex-wife. The former weightlifter appears on the show with his foreign girlfriend Thaís Ramone. After spending some time together, the couple got engaged in Brazil, after finding each other through a dating app.
It appears that Thaís' American beau and she will not be able to resolve their issues and eventually marry, as she has relocated to the United States to get married to him. She believes Patrick is too controlling, while simultaneously experiencing trust issues.
After the dissolution of his first marriage, Patrick endeavored to make his relationship with Thaís work. The first time Patrick met his future wife was while he was training for the Olympic Games as an aspiring Olympic weightlifter.
It was in 2017 that the couple got married and in 2018 they moved into their new home in Austin. In spite of this, Patrick's weightlifting career ended after he tested positive for dimethyl testosterone, which also affected his marriage.
Although Patrick is now preparing to marry Thais in Florida, a 90 Day Fiancé fan has discovered the photographs of his wedding to his first wife. A Redditor who goes by the username ericaworthyyy revealed that they found pictures of the new 90 Day Fiancé star's wedding while looking for wedding vendors in Las Vegas.
Fans can see Patrick and his ex-wife looking at each other in the first photograph. As seen in the second photograph, the reality star shed tears during the wedding of his first wife. In the third photo, Patrick is seen with his family. He is accompanied by his elder brother John, younger brother Matthew, and sister Tiffany.
In 2013, Patrick's ex-wife was working for the F.B.I. when she first met him. As the couple worked out together, they filed for a marriage license in January of 2017, after spending two years together.
The first house Patrick and his first wife bought together in Austin was purchased in April 2018. Nevertheless, the couple drifted apart after Patrick's weightlifting career ended. The divorce proceedings were finalized in December 2020 after Patrick's wife filed for divorce in January 2020.
Now, Patrick is ready to embark on a new journey with Thaís, his Brazilian love, and begin a new life in Dallas with her. In spite of the fact that the young couple appears to be so in love, they will have to overcome some major obstacles before they can get married. As a result, Thaís father dislikes Patrick and suspects that he may be trying to exploit his daughter.
