On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the ladies have kicked off a trip for the first time in the show's history. It was Kenya Moore who started the drama on the July 24 episode when she rejoined the group at Marlo Hampton's house in Blue Ridge that Marlo Hampton rented for them.
She went to sleep at her cabin down the street after her fight with Marlo the night before, but in the morning, she walked over to Marlo's house and told Sanya Richards-Ross that she wasn't happy with the way her nephews were being treated by Marlo.
During her childhood, Kenya, too, had been kicked out of a family member's house, adding to the trauma that had already been experienced. Her nephews were kicked out of her house and sent to live with their aunt for a while after Marlo told them to leave. Sanya was the new bone collector, and since Kenya told her privately, she immediately informed Marlo.
Marlo asked Kenya if she could speak privately to her before the group piled into cars to go gem mining. Marlo chased Kenya around the house when she refused. Marlo refused to have the talks in front of the group, so nothing got resolved.
Kenya then asked if they could have their talks in front of the group. She told Kenya to go home because she didn't want to deal with her drama. Kenya, however, refused, so everyone sat in the driveway for over 90 minutes trying to resolve things.
Sheree Whitfield's friend, Fatum, was also in the middle of a drama of her own, started by Drew Sidora. In the past, Fatum had made allegations about Drew's husband Ralph Pittman, which is why Drew refused to ride in the same car with her. Fatum, according to Sheree, is essentially her lapdog since she lets out some barks occasionally.
Marlo remains firm on the ultimatum she gave Kenya during the Blue Ridge trip. Fatum's unexpected appearance reignites the beef between Drew and Fatum. When Marlo breaks down, she makes a shocking decision that changes the course of the remainder of the journey.
As Kandi Burruss grew increasingly frustrated, she came up with an idea to check out the lake behind her house. Everyone jumped on the trampoline in the backyard after she invited some of the ladies to join her. After the drama was over, Marlo decided to let the ladies enjoy their time in Blue Ridge. There wasn't much time left for that.
Fatum sat near Drew when they arrived at the place where they would be mining for gems but Drew moved away instantly. Drew was then yelled at by Fatum, who ordered her to sit down. Fatum calmed down after Drew separated herself from the situation. Marlo broke down in tears once everyone returned home.
Sheree and Sanya knew she wasn't interested in dealing with the drama. At the house meeting, she told everyone to go home once everyone had gathered together. In an attempt to get everyone to leave, Marlo told the ladies she ordered cars for each of them.
The trip was planned so she could get support in her time of need, but everyone was only adding to her stress. Everyone respected Marlo's decision, even if they didn't agree with it. Fatum also caused a lot of drama on the trip because she was Sheree's lap dog, so Drew threw a dog bone at her.
