A number of Twitter users have pointed out that celebrities including Bella Hadid, Sophie Turner, Joey King, Orlando Bloom, and Robert Downey Jr. among a host of others, are removing their likes from Johnny Depp's Instagram post after he won his defamation case against Amber Heard against him.
The celebrities, on the other hand, have not made any public statements about this issue. As a result of Depp's win in the case, he wrote in a statement that he had "gained back his life" as a result of the jury's decision. He had received strong support on social media for his case.
“False, serious, and criminal allegations were levied at me via the media, which triggered an endless barrage of hate-filled content, despite the fact that no charges were ever filed against me," Part of Depp's statement on Instagram reads.
Several big names have publicly expressed their support for Depp, including Paul McCartney and Kate Moss. A number of Twitter users had selected a list of celebrities who had liked Depp's celebratory Instagram post as part of a Twitter list of celebrities who liked it.
Currently, they are circulating lists that aim to show the names of celebrities who have removed their likes or in other words seem to have withdrawn their support in the positive direction.
