As arguably the most recognizable ship on Deadliest Catch, the Cornelia Marie mysteriously disappeared in season 13. Throughout the series' long run, the F/V Cornelia Marie played a major role. Season 2 introduced us to the fishing vessel. The ship was captained by Phil Harris. The series' sixth season ended with the tragic death of Phil Harris. That season was followed by a touching memorial service.

Several captains commanded the Cornelia Marie following Captain Phil's untimely death. The captainship finally passed to Phil's grandson Josh Harris in Season 10. Co-Captain Casey McManus shares this responsibility with him.
