The Kardashians star has expressed her desire to make a difference in the world by advocating for criminal justice reform and pursuing a career in law. As of right now, does Kim Kardashian have the status of a lawyer now that she has passed the baby bar exam?

Criminal justice reform has long been a passion of Kardashians. The reality star and mom of four have expressed her frustration with a broken system for several years. On social media, Kardashian began criticizing the way incarcerated people were treated. Alice Johnson, a nonviolent criminal sentenced to life in prison, was one of the first people she helped. Kardashian, according to The Hill, advocated for Johnson's release from prison and met with then-President Trump.

Kardashian greeted Johnson after Johnson was released. Her involvement in helping people behind bars was a turning point in her life, the Skims mogul admitted. In her quest to become a lawyer, Kardashian has encountered a few bumps along the way. As of 2019, she had taken California's baby bar exam four times and failed each time. It took her until late 2021 for her to pass it.

Kim Kardashian, however, is not a lawyer yet. There are several routes California residents can take to become attorneys, including the baby bar. The traditional route to becoming a lawyer is through law school, although those who do not wish to go to school can apprentice with a law officer or a judge for four years before taking the bar exam.

Performing well on the California Bar Exam is a requirement for becoming a practicing lawyer, one of the nation's most challenging exams, notes Pajiba. It was expressed that the reality star would take the exam sometime in 2022.
