The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Crystal Kung Minkoff opened up about her eating disorder in episode 11 of season 12. Erika Jayne asked Diana Jenkins about her food issues during a holiday party at her house.
The "Pretty Mess" singer spoke about feeling "bad" about eating when Minkoff commented that she "always takes laxatives to get rid of it." She also informed Minkoff she couldn't have an appetizer chicken tender.
As part of a series of interviews that took place on the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast in July 2022, former “RHOBH” star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge spoke about the scene.
The Judge revealed that she disapproved of Jayne's interaction with Minkoff and asked, "what was she thinking?" when it came to her interaction with Minkoff.
The situation with her is concerning. What is going on? There are a lot of things going on with her right now, but what are you doing about it? During the interview, the reality television personality was questioned.
The co-host of the podcast, Arroyave, concluded that Erika had made a mistake when she said, “What Erika said was very ignorant.” Nonetheless, she stated that Jayne is a good friend, but “there’s a sensitivity thing.”
As the All In founder stated, "she was making light of a serious issue when it's not," she was making light of something serious. According to Judge, Jayne has never been the most sensitive person.
According to Arroyave, she spoke with Minkoff about the situation. According to Judge, the "RHOBH" star did not believe "Erika was being malicious." She believes that "Jayne was trying to be funny."
As in s*** it out doesn't throw it up? The "RHOC" star expressed her disapproval of the statement. A day after "RHOBH" season 12, episode 11 aired, Minkoff posted on Instagram to thank fans who have reached out to her about her eating disorder.
My sincere gratitude goes out to all of you who have supported me over the past few days. My heart goes out to every one of you who has shared your ED stories, and I'm so proud of your courage.
The recovery process from an eating disorder is not linear. The process must be approached and processed by each of us at his or her own pace. "Be kind to yourself and others suffering," the post read.
During a conversation with E! Minkoff commented on Jayne's comments at Jenkins' holiday party in July 2022. When people are uncomfortable, they exhibit a variety of responses. Some can be extreme and just intentionally hurtful.
Additionally, some people may be a little more awkward or flippant. I tried to just - if I get hurt like that, I tend to shield my heart, and as you can see I kind of step away from the situation because it isn't good for my recovery. The 39-year-old, however, refuses to take it personally.
As part of the E! She shared with the news outlet that she would be interested in starring in another season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." “Although the girls always say it gets easier every year, I must admit that sometimes it gets harder, but for now, I'm comfortable,” said the reality television personality.
