Here's what you need to know about season 3 of Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso is coming to Apple TV+ soon, and it looks like fans will be in for a wild ride based on what happened at the end of Season 2 if what happened at the end is any indication. I am curious to know what fans can expect from the upcoming Season 3 of the Emmy Award-winning series. As one of the sources recently revealed, Cristo Fernández, who plays Dani Rojas in Ted Lasso, recently discussed filming the third season.

Fernández told, "We're happy to be back on set since it's a different time as far as COVID is concerned." There was a lockdown last year, and we were shooting during the period, but at least now the city has reopened, and the writers of the show are so talented, I'm just amazed at how great they are. There are so many good scripts in the series. Shooting has been going well for the last two months, and I'm optimistic. The fans should enjoy our Season 3, which is slated for release by the end of the year." Here's the scoop on Ted Lasso's third and perhaps last season.

Production began on Valentine's Day

In February, The Hollywood Reporter reported that production on Season 3 had begun. During an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Hannah Waddingham, who plays the lead role in Ted Lasso, revealed that filming for the film will begin on Valentine's Day, which she said is "fairly romantic."

A Summer Release

Although Apple TV+ has not yet announced the release date for Season 3, it is almost certain that it will be released in the summer, which is the same period as when the first two seasons of the show were released. Even though it might seem like a long time, the summer will be here before we know it.

Since it was announced that the series would only be able to have three seasons, fans have been asking this question. In October, Sudekis appeared on Entertainment Tonight to discuss his new book. Coaches always tell people they can't think about Season 4 when the team is in the middle of Season 3. We cannot focus on championships when the team is only in the first round of playoffs.

AFC Richmond is Back

Although it is unclear what exactly will happen in Season 3, we do know that the end of the second season provided a good indication of how things will go in the third season. It is AFC Richmond that is promoted as they were relegated at the end of Season 1 following a poor performance. There is no doubt that this is good news for Ted Lasso's team, but they have lost one of their key members in the process.

After leaving AFC Richmond during the last match of the season, Nate is now the coach of West Ham United. It was Nate's frustration with his role on AFC Richmond's staff that led him to inform Ted that he was frustrated. The chances are high that West Ham and AFC Richmond will face off on the pitch at some point during Season 3 of the Premier League.

In the Dark

The Ted Lasso stars are unsure of what will happen to their characters in Season 3. According to Juno Temple, actress of Town & Country, "I do not yet know what will happen to Keeley, but there's something really special about it because it means that you'll be sort of living your life as Keeley for the next five months and can't predict what will happen," she told the publication. As the saying goes, you have to live and be in the moment, and I think that's a really interesting way of going about it since it means you have to be present with your character all the time."

In Season 3 of Ted Lasso, the cast of the show will receive a significant pay raise. Sudekis is set to make close to $1 million per episode, while the rest of the cast will receive somewhere between $125,000 and $150,000 each, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The salary of the actors will certainly be interesting to see if the show returns for Season 4 and how it will change if it does.
