“Anthea Yee, the co-host, announces that “The Breakfast Club” is over. The announcement of Yee's departure sent shockwaves across social media Tuesday night as she suggested fans of the hit radio talk show might face some bad news in the coming weeks.

“As you all know, the breakfast club as you know it is officially over,” tweeted the 46-year-old. As per Nielsen data, the hit Power 105.1 FM morning show airs on over 100 stations nationwide and has over 8 million listeners a month, according to the show's traffic statistics.

Though Yee remained tight-lipped about the cryptic announcement, she did post a tweet that stated, “God is Good!” just 15 minutes earlier. There has been no response from Yee's co-hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.

The Breakfast Club was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame on August 8, 2020, as the first ever breakfast radio show produced. "What a great accomplishment!" "And thank you so much to everyone who listens to us every day and is a part of our family," Yee wrote on Instagram at the time.

"All praise and glory must be attributed to God, and I would like to express my appreciation to everyone who listens to our radio show, podcast, YouTube, or whatever manner in which you consume your morning meal. Thank you for being a part of our tribe."

Founded in 2010, the show's YouTube channel has racked up over 5.15 million subscribers since its launch in 2010 and features both short and full-length clips from each morning's program.
