“Selling Sunset” producers want to fill Christine Quinn's void immediately. They need a new villain that can take her place. A source tells TMZ that Netflix is scrambling behind the scenes to figure out who will replace Christine as the bad girl, and they're hoping Chelsea Lazkani takes on the role in upcoming seasons.
When producers realized Christine wouldn't be returning to the series in June, execs approached Chelsea about playing the villain role, leading to Chelsea embracing the role Christine excelled at. In season 5, Chelsea joined the show as a British real estate agent and producers say they are hopeful she can fill big shoes.
look at one or both of Bre Tiesi or Nicole Young as the next Christine if Chelsea does not cut, if they're joining "Selling Sunset" for the upcoming seasons. We don't know yet if the producers have their villain since filming began this week.
As reported by TMZ, Christine and the producers have mutually decided she will leave the show. She has signed with IMG models to pursue other projects. The show's producer, Jason Oppenheim, told our photog Thursday he's not worried about Christine leaving.
