Matt Altman's wife, Johanna Altman, was arrested earlier this month for domestic violence.
A felony domestic violence charge was filed against Johanna, 40, on August 4. In Van Nuys, California, she was booked into the Valley Jail Section of the Los Angeles Police Department. On a $50k bond, she was released the next day. Page Six interviewed Matt after the incident and found out Johanna's father passed away due to COVID-19.
Matt told the outlet on Tuesday that his wife's father's death from COVID-19 has been devastating for her and the entire family. We've been going through a tough time because of this loss." On August 8, only days after his wife's release, Matt, 44, posted a picture of the family to his Instagram account.
"Everyone smiling," he captioned the post, seemingly trying to convey that things were going well at home. "Anyone with three or more kids knows it's not easy." On August 12, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. They have twins, Ashton and London, four, and Hudson, three. After Johanna's arrest, she commented on her Instagram that their relationship was "only getting stronger."
It ain't gonna matter whether you go up or down. The mom of three wrote, "I love you so much." The couple's recent wedding anniversary celebration was marked by Matt's social media gushing. Taking a snap of the couple on their wedding day, the real estate agent wrote: "Happy 5th Anniversary @johanna_altman couldn't imagine sharing life with anyone else."
The Altman Brothers Team is run by Matt Altman and his brother, Josh Altman. Bravo reality show Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles regularly features the brothers and their wealthy clients. Johanna, also a realtor, is independent of Altman Brothers.
