The twelfth season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" featured tension between Margaret Josephs and Teresa Giudice. After viewing a video showing Luis "Louie" Ruelas pleading to an unnamed woman, Josephs questioned Giudice's fiance, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. In a later interview, Giudice claimed that Ruelas had been misrepresented by her co-star.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in June 2022, the mother of four mentioned that Josephs is on the guest list for her upcoming nuptials. Kim DePaola, a former "RHONJ" personality, shared her opinions on Joseph and Giudice's relationship during an interview on the "Behind The Velvet Rope" podcast in July 2022.
DePaola discussed the cast of "RHONJ" going to Ireland to film the show's thirteenth season on the "Behind The Velvet Rope" podcast episode. To maintain her position on the hit Bravo series, Josephs is trying to stay close to Giudice. To maintain her position, Margaret is working hard. Her hand is gripped tightly around Teresa's. As she walks hand-in-hand, she tries to hold on to her spot as long as she can. It is not too common for people to stay enemies with Teresa. "They are scared to death that they will lose their jobs," DePaola said.
According to the former "RHONJ" star, Giudice has been trying to become closer to Joseph so that she would stop doubting his relationship. According to DePaola, producers requested that Josephs refrain from focusing on Ruelas since the wedding will be filmed. Teresa's motive is to get her off Luis' a**, so I know her motivation. That's Teresa's motivation. The producers said ‘lay off Luis, so we can get the wedding,'" stated DePaola. "She had the balls to bring it out. Let me get her off Luis' a**."
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly in May 2022, Giudice discussed her issues with Josephs. As she mentioned Ruelas' alleged abuse, she suggested she did not believe her co-star was sincere in her concern. The thing is, a true friend, if she sees you getting upset about something, she would stop acting as if she was concerned. Also, I wasn't hiding anything. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Since Louie has nothing to hide, I'll be letting him answer everything," said the "RHONJ" star. Season 13 will feature Ruelas speaking for himself, she noted.

What do you mean?” replied the 50-year-old. “It’s not like I went into his world. Imagine I went to his world and then all these people start attacking me. I would’ve felt bad, too. So here he is coming into my world, so I felt bad and I was trying to protect him. However, when he speaks, ears perk up and mouths drop. So from now on, I’m just going to make him speak and I’m going to keep my mouth shut because now he’s used to the cameras.”
