Beavis and Butt-Head are finally making their television comeback this week, following the recent release of their movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, which puts both characters back on the airwaves for an extended period.
For the first time in decades, Paramount+ will debut Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head series on Thursday, August 4th, making the beloved characters the subjects of an ongoing TV series for the first time in the series long history.
Before the reboot's debut, the streaming service had helped fans prepare by adding to their library of original episodes a number of new episodes from the original series in order to get them ready. Over the past few months, Paramount+ has added old Beavis and Butt-Head seasons to its streaming lineup.
A total of seven seasons of the series will be added to the service on Wednesday, bringing the total number of seasons to seven. Paramount+ is currently offering seasons 4-11 of the show.
Paramount+ continued to expand its selection of movies at the start of August, thanks in part to the new reboot series of Beavis and Butt-Head. The series may have made headlines in this month, but the streamer also added a number of other movies to its library during that time.
