Mayans MC's journey isn't over for EZ Reyes and his Santo Padre brothers, as TVLine has learned. During the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, the news was announced.
Through four intense seasons, the Mayans have battled for territory, respect, and power, preparing for the fifth season that will test EZ's leadership, according to FX Entertainment's president of Original Programming Nick Grad. We are eager to continue the ride with Elgin James, the creative team, the superb cast, crew, and our partners at 20th Television for another season."
James added, "20th is my home.". These people have always championed, supported, and challenged me to achieve my best. Their team and the entire 20th team have been so generous to me. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the future.

Mayans MC is a spin-off of Sons of Anarchy, focusing on its members, Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes and Angel Reyes.TVLine readers gave the June 14 season finale a "B+" after EZ overthrows Santo Padre's incumbent president, Marcus Alvarez, by invoking a year-old club rule.
As a stunning twist, EZ then named himself the charter's new president and confirmed his intention to do business with drug lord Soledad; EZ is unaware, however, that a mysterious arsonist burned Soledad's substantial heroin supply was taken down from the warehouse.
