There were plenty of surprises on Tuesday's Only Murders in the Building season 2 finale. In addition to learning who killed Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell), viewers have another murder mystery for next season.

Stars to reveal

The trio of Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) returned to normal.

Upcoming episode to watch

In the next episode, viewers saw Oliver battling to prepare a difficult Ben for the production's opening night. Ben hardly gets along with his costar Charles, of course.

The real struggle

Oliver suggested to Ben to "use it" and "let the tension seep into" the performance. Ben said, "Then I can kill him?" Oliver warned him.

Good words turned bad.

Charles approached Ben when he coughed and wished him "good luck." However, Charles noted that saying "good luck" in the theater is considered a curse, causing Ben to call him a cursed person."Be smart, Ben," Charles warned. "Stay away from her." In response, Ben asked, "What's your plan?" Then Charles walked away, saying, "I know what you did to Ben."
