The Sister Wives star recently sold her portion of the family's land, Coyote Pass, to her ex and his sole legal wife, Robyn Brown, for $10. She declared in November 2021 that she had ended her spiritual marriage. Christine, Kody, and Robyn were the original co-owners of the 4.48 acres in Flagstaff, Arizona. The house cost $300k and was completely paid off in 2018. She reportedly classified the land transaction as a deed of gift, asking for $10.

According to an article, the agreement states: "For the consideration of Ten Dollars, and other valuable consideration, I or we, Kody Winn Brown and Robyn Alice Brown, husband and wife, and Christine R. Brown, a single woman do/does hereby convey to Kody Winn Brown and Robyn Alice Brown, husband and wife the following real property situated in Coconino County, Arizona."According to Starcasm, the deal might have involved a legal strategy known as "Nominal Consideration." To hide the actual sale price, the technique only permits someone to donate an amount in name, typically $10. Although regular people frequently use it, high-profile people who want to keep their financial activities hidden find it particularly appealing.
Kody’s wish
The long-running TLC series' viewers are aware that Kody has stated his wish to own a home of his own on the family's land. He would probably have greater freedom and a chance to create his dream home if he bought Christine's parcel. Meri Brown and Janelle Brown, Kody's first and second wives, still possess some of the Coyote Pass property. Christine sold her Flagstaff house for $700k in October 2021, a month before she announced her leaving. According to reports, Kody's name was removed from the property the year before. Kody's third wife, Christine, relocated to Utah to be near her two daughters.

The new season of Sister Wives, which debuts next month, will give viewers an inside look at how Kody and Christine's separation played out. During the previous season finale, Christine said that she was ending the 25-year spiritual marriage.
