The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson recently went through a very public breakup with her ex-fiancé Steve Lodge, who had a recent Instagram post calling him "thirsty."Vicki found Steve at a charity event in 2016 after having a disastrous relationship with Brooks Ayers.

After discovering Brooks had lied about having cancer, Vicki found Steve's character to be honorable and trustworthy. Vicki and Steve have been together for three years when Steve proposed to her. The fans thought Vicki finally found someone to fill her love tank when she showed off her sparkly engagement ring in season 14.

Rumors started spreading that the couple had broken up. A year after they had been together for five years, Vicki announced that she and Steve were going their separate ways in September 2021.She later revealed that Steve used her condo in Mexico as a love nest after cheating on her through Vicki's statement.

The breakup between Vicki and Steve turned messy when both claimed they were spreading lies about each other. He claimed they broke up in 2020, while Vicki told cast members on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip that she was split up from her fiancé just before filming.

As Steve posted a video of himself consuming "Vicky" and grimacing, he said, “Ooh, that’s bitter!”There were many RHOC fans who shared the same sentiment and wondered why Steve was creating drama for no reason." Totally unnecessary," replied one Instagram user. Wouldn't it be better to just let her be?  According to another, "I don't know.". "To use someone for your political campaign is worse than being bitter about it, IMO." While Steve was engaged to Vicki, he ran for Governor of California, and many RHOC fans suspected he was using her to gain publicity. It was less than 1% of the votes he received despite his ambitious endeavors.

A 26-year-old elementary teacher, Janis Carlson is now Steve's wife. Although Vicki wished him the best, she shaded him with the comment that she was glad she wasn't the one at the altar. Fortunately, Vicki dodged a bullet for the second time, and she is now in a happy relationship with her boyfriend, Michael. She keeps her new relationship under wraps, unlike her previous relationships with Michael. Vicki's new love has intrigued many Real Housewives fans, but many are glad she has found someone to keep her love tank full.
