Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are struggling to have a baby. They faced several obstacles in their journey to becoming parents, including the founder of Poosh and the drummer of Blink-182. Travis' latest pancreatitis scare put a long halt to Kourtney's baby plans on July 25, 2022, according to a source close to her.
"Their pregnancy story will unfold in more detail on the next season of The Kardashians," the source said. They both want to have another child and expand their family, but most of all they want a child together.
An additional source stated that the two have been working together to ensure Travis' recovery. "Kourtney and Travis have been doing so much better since Travis' health scare," said the source. Fortunately, Travis is in much better health now, and they are slowly moving forward.
Although the possibility of having a child together is still being discussed, Travis' health is the greatest priority right now." The source continued, "Kourtney and Travis appear to be closer than ever before, especially after Travis' health scare." Travis and Kirtney are enjoying their new married life together." A source revealed that Travis is focused on his health and that he could not have anyone better by his side.
On June 29, 2022, Travis was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to pancreatitis. Physicians believe that the inflammation may have been caused by a recent endoscopy. Nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting are some of the symptoms associated with the inflammation.
In an Instagram post earlier this month, he wrote: "During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a vital pancreatic drainage tube." As a result, severe, life-threatening pancreatitis developed. I am very grateful for the intensive treatment I am receiving at the present time."
On July 2, 2022, Kourtney also provided updates on Travis' health. She posted a series of posts on Instagram Story with the caption, "Oh what a scary and emotional week." She stated that our health is our most precious possession, and it is important to be aware of how quickly it can change.
She continued, "I am so thankful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support." She said, "Trevis and I went to the doctor for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis." She said, "I am so touched and grateful."
She slammed the paparazzi who alleged that she left her husband in the hospital in one of her last stories. "And to these paparazzi who sold pictures of me 'out and about before my husband was in the hospital,...these pictures were actually taken weeks ago,...I didn't forget about you."
