She rose to fame after appearing on the weight loss reality series The 1000-LB sisters on TLC networks. She and her sister Amy-Salton focus on the reality show 1000-LB Sisters.
Tammy is doing better as she got worse and had to be rushed to the hospital during the season finale of 1000-Lb sisters.
Tammy decided to check into her Ohio just a day before. She battled depression, heavy drinking, and vaping before making a choice.
In 2018, she opened up about her life in a video post, discussing two separate incidents in her life that occurred in 2015 where she was at imminent risk of dying.
One day when Tammy woke up, she could not breathe and was taken to the hospital. She talks about being diagnosed with pneumonia and rushed to the Intensive Care Unit.
Tammy seeks help in the form of a weight loss treatment rehab center in Ohio. She had been drinking and using e-cigarettes, making decisions that put off a considerable time.
She is currently undergoing rehabilitation sessions and preparing for the life-saving operation she will undergo. She will be ready to undergo her bariatric treatment by July.
Tammy lost 115 pounds in just 30 days at an addiction center during her treatment. She was placed in a medically induced coma when her lungs failed, and she was able to lose weight.
In 2018, Tammy started posting videos on YouTube, where she amassed over 1.10 lakhs of subscribers, and her Instagram account had more than 200,000 subscribers.
