It is with great sadness that Matt Roloff mourns the loss of his father, Ronald James Roloff. In the wake of his dad's passing on Sunday, Little People, Big World star, 60, paid tribute to him on Instagram on Monday. Ronald died at the age of 84.

It was a sad week for the Roloff Family, as my dad passed peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior yesterday evening. He will be missed by his 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren," he shared along with a picture of him. Those who knew Ron will never forget him as an incredible husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and inspiration to many."

In his final remarks, he said, "Anyone who knew him knew he loved people! His love for Jesus was evident throughout his entire life, including in his last hours."Following his father's passing, the reality star reminisced on their last moments together.

He recalled reading his favorite Bible verses with his wife of 63 years 'Huny' by his side, his special love (since grade school) by his side. As much as I'd like to choose one of his favorites, he had so many! After quoting John 14:2-3 from the Bible, he said, "Some of his last words to me were the ones that told me how proud he was of me."

"What a man, what a life well lived," said Matt at the end of the message."Thank you to all of the grandchildren who were able to race to his bedside and hold his hand as mom and I said our goodbyes!! We love you all to the moon and back!"His father suffered from chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and the TLC star revealed his battle on social media in July 2021.

"Dad needs serious chemo treatment for his CLL blood cancer," he captioned an Instagram post, also sharing that his mother had fallen. In addition, he said, "Please pray the Lord's healing hand will be upon them and that they will continue to maintain their unbelievable grace and unshakable spirits... they will endure!"In an Instagram post later that month, Matt said his father's "first treatment" had gone well.

Even after just the first dose, Papa's 'numbers' are already looking better, he wrote at the time. He is going to continue weekly treatments for several months. Thank you all so much for your prayers and love!" I know it's because of your prayers and love!
