Queen Latifah's Robyn McCall should be back on screen as soon as possible. Unfortunately, that won't happen. This month isn't the premiere date for The Equalizer Season 3.McCall is not back in action this month, though we hoped he would be. There is going to be a third season of The Equalizer, but it won't premiere until September. It's pretty standard for broadcast networks to do that these days.
As far as big shows go, it's standard. CBS wouldn't risk the ratings by bringing back The Equalizer in August since it's a fall show. Getting the series back is a good thing, but we still have a long wait. There are a lot of CBS shows returning in September, but this is not one of them. The return is scheduled for October. The end of October isn't too late, but it's still later than we would like.
It has been announced that the Equalizer Season 3 premiere will air on Sunday, Oct. 2. The show will remain at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time as well as Pacific Standard Time. There is going to be a slight delay for those of you on the east coast, however, for the return of this show. There is a possibility of a preemption after that, so if the Sunday afternoon football game runs over, we may not be able to watch the episode until 8:30 p.m.
After all, we are used to this kind of thing on Sundays, right? The season hasn't been promoted yet. To prepare for the fall season, that should arrive within the next few weeks. It's a lot to cover, especially since Delilah's fears for her mom's life came up again last season. There will be more of that in Season 3.
