Whoopi Goldberg may be leaving as a moderator
The hit ABC chat show's longtime moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, has reportedly been hinting that her time there may be coming to an end. It has been reported that the actress announced her intention to launch a prosecco line at a live taping during a Q&A with audience members.
At the time, the actress was hoping to launch the line around the holidays. The View host recently said she doesn't want to encourage viewers to drink, hinting that she may be leaving the show soon after a fellow host joked she could promote bubbly beverages on air.
Alyssa Farrah Griffin joins permanently
One of former President Donald Trump's political advisors, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, is reportedly in line to take over the controversial Republican seat permanently in the upcoming weeks. Network officials have not confirmed anything.

Joy Behar is eyeing an exit as her longest-running cohost

It was originally planned for Wanda Sykes to appear on the morning show back in July, but she pulled out because a former Trump staffer was sitting at the table with her. A source within Griffin's camp revealed to the Daily Beast that she had no interest in chatting with the comedian to clean up her public image to improve her career prospects.
