According to Teresa Guidice's latest news, the iconic Bravolebrity just got married to her now husband, Luis Ruelas, after celebrating a fairytale ending.Teresa's wedding dress and over-the-top hair made their way online as pictures and videos showed her walking down the aisle to finally marry the man she so fiercely defends. One couple was noticeably absent from the event despite having over 200 guests, a Bravo camera crew, and several Real Housewives in attendance... Melissa and Joe Gorga.
On RHONJ, we've seen Teresa and Melissa back and forth for years and years, but I really hoped the bond they built in season 7 would last after Tre's absence. These two storming out of restaurants together, destroying birthday cakes together, and sitting side by side on the reunion couch were all unforgettable. As the sisters no longer seem to be on the same page, I think we took it for granted.
There were rumors over the weekend that Melissa and Joe would miss Teresa's wedding. According to Radar Online, the couple had planned to attend their sister's wedding, but during filming the RHONJ season finale, “false rumors” emerged about Joe and Melissa's marriage, and the couple must have been disappointed with Tre's decision to completely ditch her wedding.
Obviously, I haven't seen this unfold so I have no idea what I may be missing... but whatever it is, Teresa is Joe's only sister. After some time apart, I hope they can come back together, apologize, and move forward... for the sake of the families, of course.
In the meantime, we only have Instagram and Radar Online to keep us posted about their absence. The source shared, "Joe and Melissa both RSVPed 'Yes.' They selected what they would eat but then backed out a few days ago." Tacky? Hmm... a little. “Teresa had already paid for them and now she wants a refund.”I'm not sure who I would blame... her or Louie. In most cases, I'd suggest leaving it be, but I can't imagine a better scene than seeing Teresa send them a bill . Could you imagine? That's why Jennifer Aydin's response to the rumor broke my heart... just a little.
According to The Real Housewives Zone, Jennifer tweeted, "I just saw some wackadoo fakenews and Teresa and Louie would never act like that."Oh, well! Probably I'm the petty one who hoped it all got captured while filming. Perhaps I just knew it would make for an interesting topic of conversation between the ladies. The newest season of RHONJ is set to return to Bravo sometime later this year, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
