Frankel will often burst into uncontrollable fits of laughter at the most inappropriate moments. A lot of these events would happen while he was at school, during his time at Lamda, and on the set of his new show, HBO's long-awaited Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon.

Taking place 200 years before Daenerys Targaryen torched King's Landing, the ten-part series charts the history of the Targaryen family, from the conquest of the Seven Kingdoms to a fierce civil war where dragons fought dragons, as it takes us through their conquests and battles along the way.
It is Frankel who portrays Criston Cole, a dashing knight who rises to become a kingmaker. “He is not what you think he is going to be,” the 28-year-old remarks. There is a great deal of change in him over the course of the series."
Frankel made his cinematic debut in Last Christmas, and he has also appeared in Charing Cross Theatre's The Knowledge as well as BBC's The Serpent, in which he played a French backpacker who is held hostage by the Serpent.
Frankel was raised in London by a mother who preferred to speak the language at home. "I am amazed that I am able to speak English, to be honest," he says, chuckling. Meanwhile, Frankel's father was an actor who passed away when he was a baby.
In his words, "I am getting to the age that he was when he graduated from drama school." He continues, "People from his life have appeared to me as I have begun working.". Through them, I have been able to get to know him better."
