Is it time for you to discover the origins of the Walker family? You aren't alone in this journey. However, we have to still wait until Walker Independence is put on the air for us to see how it turns out.

There is no doubt that Walker Independence is the prequel series we have all been waiting for. The story is set in the Wild Wild West of the early 1900s as Abigail Walker hunts down the killer of her husband, a story that is set in that time period.

This isn't just the story of how the Walker family began, but it is also one of the Rawlins family origin stories. We will also get to see Hoyt Rawlins of the 1800s, who is also played by Matt Barr, who is everyone's favorite lumberjack.

However, it is unfortunate that we still have to wait for the show to premiere before we can see how it will be. The CW will not bring the show Walker Independence to the airwaves in August, which we were not expecting at all. There will be several big new shows on television in the upcoming season that of course will premiere at some point in the fall of 2022, not in the summer as is usually the case.

It is expected that the new series will arrive in the fall. CW's fall programming begins in the middle of the month of October, so we have to wait a little longer for a return than we do for most of the broadcast shows. It is expected that Walker Independence will premiere on Thursday, October 6. New episodes will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

There is no better time slot than this one. In addition, it runs straight after the new episodes of Walker Season 3. As long as the two Walker shows are kept together, then it makes sense to do so.

There isn't much to share right now about the upcoming series, so I won't share anything more. As far as I know, there is nothing new to report. As far as we know, filming has already begun, but we do not know when it will end. Katherine McNamara shared an update about the beginning of filming on her Instagram account a few days ago.

In the series, the action takes place in the late 1800s. There is some way in which Abigail Walker is related to the Cordell we know in the 2020s, but how is that so? In the series, that information will be shared at some point.
