Natalie Lee and The Bachelorette alum Blake Moynes have slim chances of a romantic relationship after their turtle conservation trip in the Caribbean. Natalie and Blake both became engaged on their respective shows, but their journeys were very different.
After Natalie broke up with her fiancé Shayne Jansen at the altar during the Love is Blind season 2 finale, Blake and former Bachelorette Katie Thurston dated briefly outside of the show before they announced that they were parting ways. There have been rumors swirling on social media that Natalie and Blake are a couple, as they posted photos from their turtle-saving trip.
Even though the purpose of the trip was to tag and track endangered turtles, Natalie and Blake enjoyed morning coffee by the pool together, and have shared several photos of themselves in romantic settings.
Natalie shared a recap of their vacation on her Instagram story a week after their trip ended, including videos of them laughing together and dinner dates, breakfast dates, beach parties, and dinner dates.
In an Instagram post, Blake thanked Natalie for joining him and shared photos that featured matching bracelets that can be worn by both of them in order to keep track of the animals they tag. Even though they appear to be involved in a romantic relationship, Natalie from Love is Blind seemed to friend zone Blake in her most recent posting about the trip.
Taking to Instagram, Natalie shared pictures of herself and Blake next to a sea turtle and thanked Blake for bringing her along on their trip. In the caption of her post, Natalie mentioned that she had never laughed so hard with anyone, followed by the phrase, "you are my friend for life."
Blake commented on Natalie's post that Natalie has become an expert on sea turtles and a great friend, thereby returning Natalie's gesture to friendship. On Blake's recap post of the trip, he wrote, " you are the best and you're effing hilarious too," and immediately commented to Natalie that their conservation efforts together were not complete.
Blake and Natalie's Instagram posts have left the future of their romance ambiguous, but Natalie has indicated that they will remain friends. Although, there is a good chance that Blake and Natalie wish to keep a budding relationship a private affair and that they will maintain their ‘friendship’ until a new announcement is made.
Neither Natalie nor Blake have addressed these rumors beyond their Instagram captions, but their ambiguous remarks do not provide fans with any information regarding the possibility of a romance between them. Natalie and Blake can hold onto hope that this friend zone is only for appearances, and there may be a future romance for the two in the future.
In spite of the fact that the two remain friends, they have both shared love and appreciation for each other and their conservation efforts on social media. Because Blake is active and passionate about wildlife conservation, there is a strong possibility that he and Natalie may travel together again in the future, especially given their experience saving turtles together.
Despite Natalie's friend zone caption, fans may still have hope that a romantic relationship might develop between the couple with more trips with Blake. As they helped find and protect turtles together, Bachelorette alum Blake and Love is Blind star Natalie may have a chance to find love.
